A young man raised in a palace sees the suffering of his people and must make a choice that will change his life forever. His journey leads him far from the only home he has known, into a quiet land where he finds peace, family, and a new purpose. Yet even in the stillness, a calling greater than he could imagine begins to take shape.
One day, while tending sheep in the wilderness, he sees a bush ablaze with fire yet unburned. From within the flames, a voice calls his name and gives him a mission that will take courage, faith, and trust. With signs of power and the help of his brother, he is sent to face the most powerful ruler in the land and speak for a people longing to be free.
This is the story of a hesitant leader chosen to carry out a task that seems impossible. It tells of fear turned to boldness, of promises kept, and of the beginning of a great rescue. With every step, the reader is invited into a world of desert paths, royal courts, and the steadfast presence of the One who calls.
