System Birth

Jakob wakes up in a dark, abandoned laboratory. His body has been subjected to an experimental DNA purification procedure and he was forced into a coma for over a decade as his body healed and adapted. His AI assistant is in control of the nanobots that are inside him, powered by the strange energy field his body now produces. When he finally wakes, he finds the world has suffered an apocalyptic EMP attack. Jakob finds himself with an overwhelming compulsion to head North, as he travels, he starts to discover just how different, he and the world are now.
