By day, the Dragon Brides are the ruthless enforcers of the Emperor’s will, feared by commoners and criminals alike. By night, they are little more than slaves to the decadent desires of their imperious “husband.” Part warrior, part sorceress, and part concubine, the Brides are living contradictions of unbridled power and unapologetic submission.
Nineteen year-old Asha Kadan is one of the master’s youngest and deadliest champions. After being taken from her family as a child, she has spent the last decade learning the arts of swordplay, magic, and seduction along with the rest of her sister-wives. While most of their beds lie barren, however, Asha has unexpectedly become the Emperor’s favorite. He visits her night after night, reveling in her carnal servitude and rewarding her obedience with greater power and responsibility.
As a final test of her loyalty, the Emperor sends her on her most dangerous mission yet: infiltrating the ranks of the growing resistance and destroying their mysterious leader. Asha soon learns that her true enemies aren’t the rebels trying to depose her master, but the envious sister-wives who will stop at nothing to tear her from his favor.
