Dear Judas

Then everything changes in a hospital operating room.

What happens during those critical moments defies medical explanation and leaves Tommy grappling with questions his science can't answer. Revived by the very Abel Corp defibrillator he sold to the hospital, Tommy finds himself haunted by an experience that shouldn't be possible according to everything he believes. But the evidence of his own senses contradicts the comfortable atheism he's embraced his entire adult life.

As Tommy desperately searches for rational explanations—exploring everything from neuroscience to New Age spirituality—Elizabeth sees the answer to years of intercessory prayer beginning to unfold. What neither of them realizes is that Tommy's crisis of faith has triggered something far more significant than an intellectual debate.

In an unseen realm, hell is scrambling.

Through revealing correspondence between Judas, a junior demon assigned to Tommy, and his supervisor Legion Grimshaw III, readers gain unprecedented access to the demonic strategy room. These darkly compelling letters expose the spiritual warfare raging behind everyday life, the tactics used to keep humans blind to truth, and the panic that erupts when a “secure” atheist starts asking dangerous questions.

As Judas frantically tries to maintain his grip on Tommy's worldview, his reports to Legion Grimshaw reveal the desperation of forces that thought they owned this soul. Every prayer Elizabeth utters, every Scripture passage Tommy encounters, every logical argument that points toward God—all become ammunition in a cosmic battle that's been raging unseen for years.

Tommy's intellectual journey takes him through the evidence: the Kalam Cosmological Argument, the scientific case for a transcendent Creator, the logical problems with pantheism, and ultimately, the person and claims of Jesus Christ. But evidence alone isn't enough when your career hangs in the balance, your marriage strains under the weight of disagreement, and mysterious “coincidences” seem designed to derail your search for truth.

His boss grows increasingly hostile to any hint of religious faith. A rival salesman positions himself to take over Tommy's accounts. Even their cars begin malfunctioning in ways mechanics can't explain. As the pressure mounts from every direction, Tommy must decide: will he follow the evidence wherever it leads, even if it costs him everything he's built?

Meanwhile, Elizabeth and her parents wage their own battle through relentless prayer, unaware of the angelic forces responding to their petitions or the demonic schemes designed to exploit every weakness in Tommy's life and marriage.

Dear Judas is more than a conversion story—it's a front-row seat to spiritual warfare, a thoughtful exploration of apologetics, and an encouraging reminder that no one is beyond the reach of God's grace.

Perfect for readers who loved C.S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters or Frank Peretti's This Present Darkness, this novel combines:

Compelling spiritual warfare from a demonic perspective
Contemporary realism with relatable workplace and marriage dynamics
Solid apologetics woven naturally into the narrative
The power of persistent prayer
Hope for skeptics and encouragement for believers
An intellectual journey that honors both faith and reason
From proud atheist to humble seeker, Tommy Finch's transformation showcases how God can use even crisis and confrontation as tools for salvation. His story proves that faith doesn't require abandoning logic—sometimes, reason itself leads directly to God.

The question is: will Tommy find truth before hell's carefully laid plans succeed in pulling him back into darkness?

Discover why demons tremble when atheists start asking the right questions.
