In the last book of this cozy fantasy, surely Lyra can enjoy her third year at the academy without carrying the future of the baking world on her shoulders..
Thanks to Lyra and her friends, Enjoyment is an official part of the curriculum at the Royal Academy of Magical Baking. Now an Apprentice Baker of Enjoyment, Lyra's starting the year full of confidence and excitement. But with the academy still in the throes of transition, not all is easy rolling.
On top of the complexities of establishing a new curriculum and adjusting to a new head chef, the professors are handed a chewy challenge in the form of a distinguished first-year student. When they turn to Lyra and her pals for help mentoring the new girl, how can the Whisk Whizzes refuse?
And then there's Lyra's own future to consider. What might life after the academy look like? What does she need to do now to prepare for it? And where do all her companions—especially Boysen—fit into those plans? With a variety of tricky new ingredients swirling around her, she'll have to find the recipe for her own happiness.
