The Earth Mover

In the realm of Prima Earth all is unwell. The most powerful and cruel of any being to stride through its dust has waged war upon the world of mankind. Raum, known to even the most hermitic dwarf as the Immortal One, has hammered humanity down to the level of an endangered species, conquering over two-thirds of the race—slaying kings and kingdoms at an unfathomable pace. Hope is lost … fight or flee … either means death.
Dego, child of a dead city, rescued by one of the oldest and learned Earth Movers as an infant, wrestles with the promise of some unknown purpose that he cannot comprehend. It rules his days, distracts from his studies, and impedes the peaceful future his adoptive father, Dreg, has set forth. A moment before madness takes him, young Dego is given his heart’s desire when Dreg breaks a covenant older than recorded time to impart on him the secrets of the Earth Mover’s immense powers.
Blessed with the ability to move the elements of the earth, Dego is thrust into the rank of humanity’s last chance to thwart the armies of Raum and stave off the annihilation of his native kind.
