High on a mountain wrapped in clouds, the people gather to hear the voice of God. Lightning flashes, the ground shakes, and a sound like a trumpet fills the air. Through the smoke and thunder, God gives His words to guide their hearts, words that will shape their lives forever.
Far above, Moses meets with God face to face and receives stone tablets written by God’s own hand. But while he is away, the people grow restless and make a golden calf to worship. Moses returns to find their joy turned to sin, and his love for them drives him to plead with God for mercy.
