Angel Nichols has always been a headstrong young woman, living life on her terms and following her dreams at all costs. When she gets the opportunity to leave Texas, along with her sheltered and over protective upbringing, to work at Fritz House for top fashion designer, Marlene Devereaux, she jumps at the chance. Unfortunately, she also leaves behind Wade, her childhood sweetheart and the one man who truly loves her in exchange for the bright lights of LA.
One year later, she finds herself recovering from a rebound relationship where she finds herself dumped for another woman. With her career taking off but her ego severely bruised, she's missing Wade more than ever. The only solace she can find is to throw herself into LA's colorful nightlife of bars and clubs. She's rapidly on a downward spiral, that is, until Brad Singer enters her life like a thunder bolt and sweeps her off her feet.
With money, looks, power and a bedside manner that sends her to Heaven, Angel thinks she finally has it all. But as time goes on and their relationship is still secretive, she begins to see a dark and sinister side to this baby-faced man. Can she figure out what game he's playing and spare herself from yet another heartbreak? Or will she stay blinded by lust and fall into a deadly game of lies and manipulation?
