Slayer of Darkness (Bane of Darklings #2)

Yancey has made his way from a lesser untalented & unwanted mage to the status of a noble of the kingdom that had looked down its nose at him. He has proven himself a hero and a person of virtue that even washed out wounded war veterans would return to the kingdoms service if he asked them to. Now that he has been awarded the southern region of the kingdom of Alba, the noble social elites are looking to bring him back into the fold of their circle. But Yancey has one thing the nobles don't have. Options, and he isn't above using them.
