Winter’s Fury (Furyck Saga, #1)

Eadmund is a ruined shell of a man, broken since the death of his wife seven years before, but now he must find a way to regain his father’s trust, and quickly, before he brings back his dangerous and vengeful brother, Ivaar, to replace him. To do that Eadmund is going to need Jael’s help, but helping him is the last thing on her mind.

Jael is furious and determined to ignore her new husband, and instead fight and claw her way back to Brekka, and the life that once belonged to her. But she has a habit of making enemies, and there is more than one person on the island of Oss plotting to destroy her.

Jael’s grandmother, Edela, a Tuuran dreamer, sees another threat to her safety; an old, evil darkness that is stalking her on Oss. A girl with a scorched face and an ominous voice haunts her dreams, warning her of horrors to come. She must race to Tuura with Aleksander’s help, to uncover the answers to her mysterious visions, to thread together all the clues, before it’s too late.

But in Tuura, they like to keep their secrets hidden, and Jael Furyck and her importance to all the kingdoms of Osterland is their most closely guarded secret of all. The Tuuran elders will stop at nothing to protect the prophecy...

Winter’s Fury weaves together a rich tapestry of characters and kingdoms, swords and warriors, dark magic and mystery, which will leave you wanting more.
